“I want to bring everybody to Christ — especially… Jews.” 'Conservative' Bishop Robert Barron of Winona-Rochester discussed the salvation of non-Christians in an interview with EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo following the release of a new Vatican document on interreligious dialogue. Barron said the covenant with Israel “is fulfilled in Christ,” rejecting the idea of two parallel paths of salvation. “I want to bring everybody to Christ,” Barron said, adding, “especially… Jews.” The Church’s purpose is “always and everywhere to everybody” to proclaim Jesus Christ as Savior, he said.
