Zeitoun was a "wipe out' as the Beach Boys used to say. 200,000 people who saw a fuzzy figure of something that was never identified nor never said anything to anybody. it is a complete and obvious hoax. Not a Catholic apparition and not at a Catholic Church. I saw the Jimmy Akins' video on this and he was embarrassingly bad.
Instaurare Omnia in Christo....I would urge you to more closely analyze the apparition. No discernable person much less the BVM, no voice, no message, nothing about God and not at a Catholic Church. Total flop.
Yall need some discernment
I don't bother to listen to Akin. And I have looked into it for many years! There is a close up of the figure of The Blessed Mother. You can see clearly her face. I have seen and heard how the government try to suppress this Apparition of The Blessed Mother. But they couldn't. They tried everything to make it "seem" like a hoax. But in the end they too agreed it was The Blessed Mother. But the numbers he has said is off a lot. It was more closer to a million people. They came from all over the world to witness it. Many people were cured of incurable diseases and healed from other problems. Facts remain. There is no other option but to admit it was true! And the Doves? They were as big as men and bigger. Some were white and some were gold. And one stood over The Blessed Mother the whole time. Which would be of course The Most Holy Ghost! So, I did look into it. And I passed it around to others to see the facts it was all true. Did you know many people also converted from every religion they were in? Yes, I did look into it. And No! I will not listen to people like Akins. Thank you Chris for your concern. GOD Bless you.
@Instaurare Omnia in Christo I had never seen this video before; I had only seen the Akin video (I have some major gripes with him also). Thanks, but it is essentially the same as Akins'.
No new ground was broken by your video.
1. IT never said a word
2. IT never identified itself.
3. IT never performed any verified, public miracles.
4. It never said IT was the Blessed mother.
5. The narrator said to forget Fatama and Lourdes.
IT NEVER IDENTIFIED HERSELF.
IT NEVER MENTIONED THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
IT NEVER SAID THE WORD JESUS
IT TOOK UP RESIDENCE AT A NON-CATHOLIC CHURCH
IT MUST HAVE WON PEPOLE AWAY FROM THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
With respect I must implore you to be loyal to the Catholic Church.
I am very loyal to the Catholic Church. I love her very much. But the person who said that, didn't mean literally to forget Fatima and Lourdes. You shouldn't take it that way. The miracles were documented. You might find them on line. The Blessed Mother doesn't need to say a word. We know who she is and what she stands for. She was there to bring people together. She was there to prove she and Heaven is real. That life after death does exist. The Church is where The Holy Family stayed. Why did she choose that man to build a Church, I am not GOD. We will know everything once (if we are good enough) we are in Heaven. I do know we must go to Mary first so she can lead us to her Son. I know this apparition is real. And it's not from man, which was proven. And I doubt very much it's the devil because he hates her with a passion and fears her. She smiled and Blessed the people. Would the devil dare make the sign of the Cross? Of course not. I remember many years ago when I first found this video there were a few people who spoke of their cures. If youtube didn't take them down, or the youtuber didn't leave, you can still try and find them. I suggest you do that. Always dig deep. That's what I did. That's what I always try to do even now.
@Instaurare Omnia in Christo
Love you like a brother so I must tell you the truth. You have already left the Catholic Church by believing in an apparition not approved by the Church and you calling her the Blessed Virgin when she has never called herself that way. It is a pretender and a demon, and she is not even Catholic. I will pray for you.
Between April 1968 and September 1979, the Virgin appeared hundreds of times at Zeitoun in Cairo, above a Coptic church. According to tradition, this is the place where the Holy Family stayed during the flight into Egypt. These apparitions, all nocturnal and silent, could be photographed. They were officially recognized by the Coptic and Catholic Churches, as well as by Muslim authorities. Many miracles and healings occurred at the site of the apparitions, and extraordinary phenomena continue to occur to this day.
Shortly after, the Coptic Catholic Patriarch, Cardinal Stephanos I Sidarous, associated himself with this recognition by saying: "There is no doubt about the reality of these apparitions, which have been confirmed by many trustworthy Coptic Catholic faithful known for their extreme integrity. They witnessed the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and gave me very complete descriptions."
These apparitions were also visible to all and accompanied by delightful fragrances.
Finally, the Vatican, represented by the Catholic pro-nuncio, Archbishop Lino Zanini, declared that: "The Holy See respects in this matter the authority of the local Church and defers to its judgment."
Miracles Related to the Apparitions
Today, a medical committee has been established to record all testimonies of healings, which are very numerous. Some people were healed during the apparitions, others shortly after attending. Here are some remarkable cases:
During the apparitions, Farouk Mohammed Atwa was going to the hospital to treat his finger that had been amputated due to gangrene. When the doctor examined him on April 3, 1968, he was astonished to find the finger completely healed.
Wagih Rizk, a photographer witnessed the apparition three times in a row; the radiance of the Virgin was such that he remained "electrified and incapable of doing anything". On the fourth evening, April 13, 1968, Wagih managed to take photos. He testifies: "It was a terribly impressive experience. I felt the earth would vanish beneath my feet. After taking these shots, I realized that a nasty wound I had on my arm for several years, a sequela of a car accident, had completely disappeared."
Also cite: Sami Abd-el-Malek, aged 40, healed of terminal bladder cancer; Fathma Zahi Reda, a devout Muslim healed of an incurable thyroid gland condition; Madiha Mohammed Saïd aged 20, healed of nervous disorders that had left her blind and unable to speak; William Nashed Zaki, a renowned doctor, healed of a hernia; Mrs. Mahmoud Shoukry Ibrahim, aged 45, healed of total paralysis of the lower limbs.
One more comment from Instaurare Omnia in Christo
And by the way Chris, aren't you the one that doesn't believe in any of the Marian apparitions because none of them ever mentioned abortion? And you want to pray for me? And yes, I love you as well.
Carlus , michael7 I feel compelled to warn you not to honor a complete forgery of the Blessed Virgin. This Zeitoun thing has not one Catholic honesty. Not a Catholic woman, not a Catholic Church, not a Catholic praise of Jesus, not Catholic dogmas, not anything leading to Christ. You are risking you soul.
@chris griffin : The catholic church does not forbid to report some phenomena. I do not judge, but it is thinkable that Mary could appear also infront of Moslems or Schismatics in order to remember a place where she was present in her lifetime and in order to give an sign also to Moslems. It is wellknown that many Moslems who converted to Jesus Christ reported that the origin of their conversion was a vision or a call of Jesus Christ himself!
And why we should think that ist would be impossible for our Lady to appear in silence, like in Knock (1879) in Ireland, or Pontmain (1871) in France, which are approved by the church?
@michael7.. you are spouting wishful thinking, conjecture and flat-out making excuses when there are none.
PS if you think she is the BVM then you have left the Catholic Church.
