"Rome Knows and Does Nothing": Bishop Schneider Holds Vatican Responsible for Protestantization

Bishop Athanasius Schneider criticised Cardinal Reinhard Marx’s instruction to priests to perform or enable 'blessings' for same-sex couples, calling it "completely irresponsible".
Talking to Gloria.tv on 24 April, Monsignor Schneider said that such 'blessings' amount to publicly endorsing a lifestyle contrary to nature, reason and the commandments of God: "To make this almost an obligation is mockery and blasphemy," he said, adding: "It is a grave sin for a cardinal to promote such a thing."
When asked about California Bishop Joseph Brennan's participation in an Anglican episcopal consecration on 18 April, Bishop Schneider described it as an ecclesiastical crime, as Monsignor Brennan took part in the simulation of an invalid ordination.
Monsignor Schneider pointed out a double standard within the Church: "A bishop who participates in a schismatic, heretical and invalid so-called episcopal consecration apparently remains unpunished. At the same time, a true Catholic and valid episcopal …More

Not the Vatican, your excellency, Vatican II. If you would forcefully denounce the most visible false and heretical teachings of the Council, such as Ecumenism, Religious Liberty, Collegialism, and Nostra Aetate, perhaps you might cause some of them in the Vatican to examine their conscience.

"Kwasniewski’s program for a new Church constitution (after years of heavy hints) has finally seen the light of day as a Manifesto translated from German and heavily inspired by Georg Hegel. This turgid text might only be closely examined by those sympathetic or scandalised enough to be bothered (it’s a pity Luther is not around – he could have helped with the prose), but it leaves one thing clear: Kwasniewski is no traditional Catholic....It is also for the reader to fathom how Kwasniewski’s declaration of neutrality1 concerning the SSPX consecrations can be reconciled with his total support for a Manifesto centred on condemning these consecrations and ridiculing their justification."

The high church modernist Synodal Way to “complete” Vatican II - Pax Orbis

Vinicius returns to the theme of High Church Modernism (see previous articles here and here) – that incoherent ideology found among many influential ‘traditionalist’ commentators but which is in fact a blend of occult mysticism, Vatican II ecclesiology and the rejection of the decrees of the dogmatic First Vatican Council.
by Vinicius
For Gallican “reformers” the Catholic Church has been all wrong for most of the last thousand years. Their unoriginal solution (in view of Lutheranism, Gallicanism, Anglicanism etc) is to go back to the “early Church”.
Writers like Peter Kwasniewski, Sebastian Morello, and Tim Flanders can’t be sure exactly what period has to be dusted off or what this means; the only dogma seems to be anti-papalism and open-ended radical change to the constitution and even doctrine of the Church.
Traditional rite Catholics who endorse the unorthodox novelties and equivocations in Vatican II texts have been thrown completely off-balance by the Society of Saint Pius …

7 Cold War Secrets that Will Keep You Alive When SHTF - Ask a Prepper

For about forty years, the United States and the Soviet Union spent an absurd amount of money preparing for the end of the world. Both sides built bunkers, stockpiled supplies, trained civilians, and developed survival protocols that most people today have completely forgotten about.
But here’s the thing – the scenarios they were preparing for sound a lot like what you are getting ready for right now. The triggers might be different, but the problems are the same.
The Cold War generated decades of real, government-funded survival research. Most of it gathered dust in declassified archives and forgotten civil defense manuals. Some of it is surprisingly practical, and almost none of it gets talked about anymore.
That changes now.
The Swiss Shelters
When people think Cold War bunkers, they think of secret government facilities buried inside mountains. Fair enough, but the most impressive civilian shelter program didn’t come from the US or the Soviet Union. It came from Switzerland.

Trump evacuated after reported gunshots at White House correspondents dinner (VIDEO)

The annual dinner, held at the Washington Hilton, had just begun when the disruption unfolded
President Donald Trump was abruptly evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton in Washington on Saturday night after what authorities described as an unspecified security threat.
The Secret Service and other law enforcement personnel rushed into the ballroom as guests ducked under tables, according to footage from the scene. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
DETAILS TO FOLLOW
The annual dinner, held by the White House Correspondents’ Association, had just begun when the disruption unfolded. Trump and other top US officials were escorted out of the room, cutting short what had been billed as his first appearance at the event as president. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is traditionally held at the Washington Hilton, not at the White House itself.

Before the dramatic events unfolded, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt joked that “there will be shots fired tonight” during Trump’s speech.

New Appointment After Strange Resignation

Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Giancarlo Dellagiovanna, 64, as Apostolic Nuncio to El Salvador.
This follows one of the more unusual diplomatic incidents of the past year.
On 15 March 2025, Pope Francis had named Monsignor Dellagiovanna as Apostolic Nuncio to Burkina Faso. He was consecrated as a bishop by Cardinal Pietro Parolin in Rome on 25 April 2025.
However, his tenure was unusually brief, lasting only five months. On 15 August 2025, his resignation from the Burkina Faso post was quietly accepted with the appointment of a successor.
The resignation remains unexplained. According to the Italian blog Cielo e Roma, the move was allegedly due to health reasons.
Dellagiovanna joined the Holy See’s diplomatic service in 2005. He served in the nunciatures of Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Italy, as well as in the Secretariat of State’s Section for General Affairs.
In August 2019, AciStampa.com reported that he was Cardinal Pietro Parolin’s ghostwriter.

France's ID Portal Hacked: 19 Million Records Up for Sale

French authorities have added another case study to the growing argument against centralizing citizen identity data.
France Titres, formerly known as ANTS, operates the portal where residents apply for passports, national ID cards, residence permits, driver’s licenses, and vehicle registrations.
On April 15, something broke inside that system. A week later, the Interior Ministry
confirmed what anyone watching digital ID schemes has been saying about this exact architecture for years, and the scale on offer from the attacker makes the warning harder to wave away.
A threat actor using the aliases “breach3d” and “ExtaseHunters” appeared on criminal forums on April 16, claiming to have stolen between 18 and 19 million records from the agency’s internal systems.

Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas supported the death penalty

Jesus explained that it was preferable to be punished with the death penalty than to face the eternal punishment that awaits those who corrupt the weak and cause them to stumble.
Luke 17:2
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.
St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas Pro death …
Saint Thomas Aquinas, in the *Summa Theologiae*, teaches that heretics render themselves worthy not only of excommunication but also of physical extermination.
In his *Summa Theologiae*, he writes: "In the case of heretics, two aspects must be considered: one on their part, and the other on the part of the Church. On their part, there is indeed a sin whereby they have merited not only separation from the Church through excommunication, but also exclusion from the world THROUGH DEATH." "However, on the part of the Church, there is mercy in favor of the conversion of those who err; and for this reason …More

Catena Aurea:
Saint Jerome
When the Lord says: "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, etc.," He employs the language customary in that province; for it was the custom among the ancient Jews to punish the most heinous criminals by casting them into the sea bound to a stone—a punishment that was, in fact, preferable for them. For it is far better to undergo a brief punishment than to be reserved to suffer eternal torments.

Jesus endorsed the death penalty to protect the innocent from depraved men who seek to corrupt them or cause them to sin.
Matthew 18:6
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

The appeal of the Old Liturgy for young people lies in its focus and orientation on God, not on the community.
We have so many rites in the Catholic Church. We should accept them for what they are: mere rites. We must infuse every rite with love and devotion; otherwise, it misses its mark.
The Old and New Rites, as such, have nothing to do with whether we recognize the Council or not, or how we deal with its texts or reforms.

Vatican Accepts Benedictines’ Appeal Against Valle de los Caídos “Re-signification”

The Vatican has accepted the appeal filed by the Benedictine monks of the Valle de los Caídos against the Spanish government’s planned “re-signification” of the monument, according to Spanish media.
The move is being seen as a setback for the pro-homosexual Cardinal José Cobo of Madrid, whom critics accuse of having capitulated to the government during negotiations.
Cardinal Cobo has repeatedly said that the Archdiocese of Madrid has no authority over the basilica or the Benedictine community and that responsibility lies with the Vatican.
The complex includes the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Benedictine monastery. The Sánchez government’s plans amount to the secularisation of an important Catholic religious sites.
The government is expected to present in June the redevelopment project known as “La base y la cruz,” which will lay out the next stage of the redesign. This will coincide with the June visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain.

Mexican bishop urges Catholics to learn, defend their faith to mark centenary of Cristero War - LifeSite

Fri Apr 24, 2026 - 5:46 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Sigifredo Noriega Barceló of Zacatecas, Mexico, called on the faithful during an interview published this week to commemorate the centenary of the Cristero War (which began in 1926) to get to know their faith better in order to defend the Church.
In an interview with ACI Prensa published April 21 ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Cristero War, which saw hundreds of thousands of Mexican Catholics martyred for their faith, Bishop Noriega lamented that in the century after these events, many of the country’s faithful no longer hold the solid faith of the Cristeros. The bishop then emphasized that the best way to defend the faith today is to increase knowledge of it and therefore grow in Christ.
“The religious principles that govern our lives are not so solid,” Noriega said, stressing that for this reason the faithful need to strengthen their faith formation.
The bishop noted that the Cristeros would call on today’s faithful to …

"We tend to think that when the Church is talking about morality, that the only issue of morality is sexual. And in reality, I believe there are much greater, more important issues, such as justice, equality, freedom of men and women, freedom of religion, that would all take priority before that particular issue."

Leo XIV’s Evasive Response to Marx’s Homosexual Blessings – No Sanctions

On the return flight to Rome today, Pope Leo XIV was asked about the decision of Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich, Germany, to enforce "blessings" for homosexual couples in his archdiocese. Leo XIV replied:
"First of all, I think it’s very important to understand that the unity or division of the Church should not revolve around sexual matters. We tend to think that when the Church is talking about morality, that the only issue of morality is sexual. And in reality, I believe there are much greater, more important issues, such as justice, equality, freedom of men and women, freedom of religion, that would all take priority before that particular issue. The Holy See has already spoken to the German bishops.
The Holy See has made it clear that we do not agree with the formalized blessing of couples, in this case, homosexual couples, as you asked, or couples in irregular situations, beyond what was specifically, if you will, allowed for by Pope Francis in saying all people receive blessings. …More

How the U.S. Spies on the Vatican

Ken Klippenstein writes on April 24 the truism that the U.S. has long maintained extensive intelligence and security monitoring of the Vatican. The used agencies are the CIA, NSA, FBI, and State Department.
- The CIA is represented in the U.S. Embassy to the Vatican and the Agency has been penetrating the Vatican government and diplomatic corps for years. It has human spies working inside the Holy See bureaucracy.
- The NSA intercepts Vatican communications, emails, and texts, working independently and through a joint NSA/CIA “Special Collection Service.”
- The FBI investigates crimes committed against and by the Vatican. It also regularly provides threat intelligence to the Pope during his travels. FBI documents show that the first Trump administration sought to beef up its coordination with Italian intelligence agencies and Vatican officials on things like cyber security, white collar crime, human trafficking, art theft and other issues.
- The State Department closely follows the ins …More

If Ken Klippenstein is 38 yrs old, then he was 4 yrs old when Bill Clinton became President.
During the Clinton Presidency there was a row between JPII and Clinton himself. Clinton promised JPII that he opposed international funding of abortion. Clinton's promises don't come with a guarantee, and soon he “forgot” all about his promise. Afterwards, JPII publicly opposed Clinton's abortion policy.
Clinton's reply came weeks later. The US embassy building to the Holy See was closed, and the office(s) moved to the Embassy to the State of Italy. The BS excuse was that it would save money.
