Another Army Vet arrested and held in a detention center

Army Vet George Retes will sue the federal government for keeping him in a detention center without a cause, without checking his ID. They refused to allow him to talk. smashed his car windows.
It seems as though there will be no end to this madness. I hope he sues them and wins a lot of money for what they are doing to so many people. They need to learn they are not above the law.

He was working as a security guard at a marijuana farm at the time of arrest.
It's legal to grow and sell cannabis in California with proper licensing.

I also left two more articles in comments.

This is a complete bullhockey article, to-wit:
Nowhere does it state or claim that the man was held unjustly.
Nowhere does it state what the plaintiff's immigration status actually is.
Nowhere does it state that anyone gains any particular rights of citizenship because they are a veteran.
The article does state that he was detained for 3 days due to a misunderstanding. But the misunderstanding was his, not ICE's.
