But behind his public image as a celebrated humanitarian, Church leaders knew of serious psychiatric problems and allegations of sexual abuse. Sisters Simone (88), Thérèse (90) and Maryvonne (90) are the last three religious of the congregation of Saint Joseph of the Apparition in Plouguenast-Langast, Brittany, France.
