Today, the Vatican released the final report of Synodal Study Group 6, which deals with relations between bishops, religious and consecrated life, and lay ecclesial associations. Under a proposal to “establish more synodal structures,” the report calls for “equitable and participatory representation” of consecrated persons and laity “at all decision-making levels” - and: “as full members and not merely as consultants, in diocesan, national, and international commissions, as well as in Vatican dicasteries.” At the diocesan level “it is necessary to allow for broader participation of consecrated persons in the decision-making processes of the local Church.” Women Religious in the Selection of Bishops The report proposes to: “allow women religious to participate in the process of electing bishops responsible for consecrated life at the national and diocesan levels”. It also proposes their participation in the election of chaplains for religious communities. “Gender Equality” in the Workplace …More

[Saint Bonaventure – XIII Century AD: born: Civita di Bagnoregio, Papal States/died: Lyon, Kingdom of Burgundy-Arles; (aged 52-53); Cardinal, Bishop, Doctor of the Church, Seraphic Doctor, Teacher of the Faith, Writer, Philosopher] CHAPTER IV -- THE NAME OF THE BLESSED MARY IS FREE FROM ALL VICE AND RESPLENDENT WITH EVERY VIRTUE Hail Mary. This most sweet and affectionate name, so full of grace and so noble, so glorious and so worthy, excellently befits Our Lady. For most fittingly is so loving a virgin named Mary. For she is Mary, in whom there is no vice, and who is glorious with every virtue. She is Mary, who was entirely immune from the seven capital sins. She was most humble in opposition to pride; most loving by charity in opposition to envy; most meek against anger by her gentleness; indefatigable by her diligence against sloth; Mary by her poverty was detached against avarice; against gluttony she was most sober by her temperance; against lust she was most chaste by her virginity …More

The Second Pastoral Synod of the Archdiocese of Kraków degenerates into a 'rainbow event'. It opened in March 2026 under the leadership of Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś, and the first 56-page report was produced on 19 June. A Synodal Day of Recollection has been scheduled for 10 October 2026, and the next plenary session is planned for 12–13 February 2027. Cardinal Ryś was already known for his pro-homosexual tendencies when Leo XIV promoted him Archbishop of Kraków in November 2025. At the plenary session of the Kraków Synod in June 2026, Cardinal Ryś addressed the issue of homosexuality directly: 'Sexual orientation does not exclude anyone from the Church.' The 56-page synodal report summarises proposals emerging from local consultations. On page 34, under the heading 'Radical change of language towards LGBT+', the report calls for 'safe pastoral havens'. It demands an end to portraying practicing homosexuals as a threat and calls for 'open, honest dialogue with contemporary knowledge about …More
Full Movie - Secret of the Golden Arrow Holy Face Devotion -- Arise, O Lord, and let Thy enemies be scattered, and let all that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face. youtube.com/watch?v=DcemQnlnleo Holy Face Devotion: Home Sister Mary of St. Peter (1816–1848), a Carmelite of Tours, reported interior locutions calling for reparation for blasphemy and the profanation of Sunday. Devotion to the Holy Face subsequently developed at Tours; the Archdiocese of Tours states that Pope Leo XIII approved the devotion in 1885, when the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face was established. The traditional Little Chaplet honors the five senses of Christ's Holy Face in five groups of six small beads and then recalls his public ministry on three small beads. With six large beads, there are 39 beads in all. This is a private devotion rather than a liturgical rite, and claims associated with private revelations must be understood according to the Church's teaching in Verbum Domini 14.
"Whereas, in Penance, the offense is atoned according to the will of the sinner, and the judgment of God against Whom the sin was committed, because in the latter case we seek not only the restoration of the equality of justice, as in vindictive justice, but also and still more the reconciliation of friendship, which is accomplished by the offender making atonement according to the will of the person offended. Accordingly the first requisite on the part of the penitent is the will to atone, and this is done by contrition; the second is that he submit to the judgment of the priest standing in God's place, and this is done in confession; and the third is that he atone according to the decision of God's minister, and this is done in satisfaction: and so contrition, confession, and satisfaction are assigned as parts of Penance." — St. Thomas Aquinas
The Greek-Orthodox Metropolis (Diocese) of Kaisariani, Vyronas and Ymittos, which covers three suburbs of Athens, announced that an icon of Our Lady is "weeping" in Vyronas. The phenomenon began on September 8, the Nativity of Mary, during a liturgy. It repeated itself the following days and attracted many people. The diocese interprets this as a “signs from God for the faithful.” #newsGxtcpuuxfr

Trump’s Only Teacher nytimes.com/2026/09/07/opinion/roy-cohn-kai-bird-… Sept. 7, 2026 By Carlos Lozada Opinion Columnist At this point in the Trumpian arc, we’re all too familiar with the president’s methods: Deny everything; apologize for nothing. Hog the spotlight. Counterattack, counterpunch, countersue. Always declare victory, even when you lose (especially when you lose). Resentment sells. Nativism sells. Cruelty, if not yet normal, becomes the norm. Rules and traditions are for suckers; everyone is, if not corrupt, at least corruptible. These are President Trump’s instincts, yes. But before they were his, they were Roy Cohn’s. Kai Bird’s new book, “American Scoundrel,” written with Susan Goldmark (Bird’s wife and chief researcher), is a biography of Cohn, the sinister 20th-century lawyer who served as chief counsel to Joe McCarthy when the junior senator from Wisconsin was Red Scaring America and as lawyer to Trump when the young real estate developer was deflecting allegations …More

September 8 - The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin - Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick EVE OF MARY'S BIRTH What gladness throughout all nature! Birds are singing, lambs and kids are gamboling, and swarms of doves are fluttering with joy around the spot upon which once stood Anne's abode. I see only a wilderness there at the present day. But I had a vision of pilgrims in the far-off times who, girded and with long staves in their hands, wended their way through the country to Mount Carmel. On their head they wore a covering wound around like a turban. They too participated in the joy of nature. And when in their astonishment they asked the hermits that dwelt in the neighborhood the cause of this remarkable exultation, they received for answer, that such manifestations of gladness were customary. They were always observed upon the eve of the anniversary of Mary's birth around that spot where once stood Anne's house. The hermits told them of a holy man of the early times who had been the first …More
