Dijon Archbishop Celebrates Funeral for French Freemason — Macron Delivers Speech: François Patriat — an acknowledged Freemason, Senator for Côte-d’Or and president of Macron’s RDPI group in the French Senate — received a Catholic funeral at Notre-Dame de Semur-en-Auxois. Archbishop Antoine Hérouard of Dijon presided over the funeral. President Emmanuel Macron — who has championed France’s euthanasia legislation — delivered a speech inside the church in tribute to one of his earliest and most faithful political allies: “Every time I turned around, François was there.”

Two decades ago, a weekly cultural program called Panorama Radial aired on an AM radio station in the suburbs of Buenos Aires (Radio Mi País) addressed a variety of topics of interest to Catholics, many of them related to religious and civil anniversaries. It was a rare and educational gem amidst the deluge of modern media, which has submerged a large part of the population. Some of its topics remain surprisingly relevant. Therefore, we have decided to publish them here, without a fixed date, starting with a broadcast from July 18, 2006, shortly before the publication of Summorum Pontificum, which discusses the unjust restrictions the hierarchy applies to the Tridentine Mass! It is lamentable to note that, in this regard, everything is the same or worse than it was then!
Wicked people—obstinate, malicious, and willfully blind—call an apostate who rebels against God "Pope," thereby contributing to this great diabolical deception and helping this impostor continue to murder souls.
Has World War III Already Started? nytimes.com/…/25/opinion/has-world-war-iii-alread… Aug. 25, 2026, 4:00 p.m. ET By Bret Stephens Opinion Columnist Shortly after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, I wrote a column under the headline “This Is How World War III Begins.” More than four years on, I wonder how much I got right. My argument was based on the origins of World War II, which did not simply start with Germany’s invasion of Poland on Sept. 1, 1939. Instead, the war was an accumulation of regional wars and crises, beginning with Japan’s invasion of Manchuria in 1931, which gradually gathered into a single global conflict. That gathering, abetted by the converging ambitions of the totalitarian states and the divisions and vacillations of the democracies, led to catastrophe. Added to this was a revolution in military technology and tactics that gave the dictatorships an early advantage in offensive combat. Also an advantage: their willingness to inflict — and endure —…More
Your Gifts Were Given For Heaven The parable of the talents highlights the importance of using the gifts God has given us to love Him and our neighbors. While some reject Jesus as their king, choosing to be their own, true freedom lies in following His command to love. By doing so, we fulfill our purpose and prepare for eternal life in heaven. Fr. Rev. Michael Pfleger, 77, was reinstated effective August 24 after the Archdiocese of Chicago's Independent Review Board completed its investigation. He is known nationally for his progressive activism. Cardinal Blase Cupich, 77, said the board, assisted by the Office of Child Protection and outside investigators, concluded there was “no reason to believe” Pfleger was guilty of the allegation. Cupich accepted the recommendation and returned him to ministry at St. Sabina. According to the Chicago Sun-Times reporting, a woman alleged that Pfleger sexually abused her when she was a girl attending St. Sabina's school sometime between 1993 and 1995. The allegation surfaced this July, and Pfleger was removed from ministry on July 11 while it was investigated. Rev. Pfleger denied it emphatically from the outset, calling it an “absolute lie.” Under archdiocesan policy, the allegation was reported to police, and the accuser was offered assistance through the church's Victim Assistance Ministry. …More
Wicked people who are willfully blind have backed the apostate Prevost in defying God and have helped him murder souls. Leo XIV says we shouldn't 'retreat into our own … Galatians 1:9 We have said this before, and now I repeat it: if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one you received, let him be accursed
Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh NOW: House Republicans are pushing to pass massive new legislation that BANS ANY future president from opening our borders to invasion of illegal aliens NO-BRAINER and NO EXCUSES! The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has announced that it will continue its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes. Following the episcopal consecrations on July 1 in Ecône, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes withdrew permission for the SSPX to celebrate public Masses, administer sacraments, or organize public prayers at Lourdes. In an August 22 statement, Fr. Gonzague Peignot, superior of the FSSPX in France, announced that the Fraternity intends to continue coming to Lourdes every year, “Our Lady does not deserve to be abandoned despite the obstacles,” he said. The FSSPX expressed 'sorrow and incomprehension', questioning the bishop's decision and pointing to the interreligious Christian-Muslim pilgrimage that was welcomed at the sanctuary in October 2025. For now, the FSSPX faithful intend to remain present at Lourdes, but their pilgrimage will no longer be able to take the same public form as in previous years. #newsPjxbelhyed
Natalie Harp: The Stalker Who Got the Job | The Daily Beast Podcast Kurt Andersen and Joanna Coles take a wild ride through the strange characters, political fantasies, and very plausible futures shaping America right now. Andersen sizes up Natalie Harp as a figure so bizarre she could have stepped out of Dickens, Orwell, or The Simpsons, before revisiting his new novel’s startling vision of Donald Trump’s death and an America fractured beyond recognition. They debate whether the country’s divisions could really lead to disunion, why fiction may be better equipped than nonfiction to capture this political moment, and whether Jon Ossoff has emerged as the Democrat to watch. Then, the conversation takes an even stranger turn as Andersen reviews his former coke dealer RFK Jr.’s unlikely new food podcast and what it might reveal about life after Trump. 00:00 - Natalie Harp: The Stalker Who Got the Job 06:46 - Why Natalie Harp Is Like Smithers 12:16 - Kurt Andersen Imagines Trump’s Final Act …More
Vatican diplomat calls for end to Ukraine war during Moscow visit: Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the Holy See’s Secretary for Relations with States, met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday. “Let us be clear, this war must end,” Gallagher said after the talks. He warned that every additional day of fighting creates new victims and makes future reconciliation more difficult. Gallagher said the talks also covered possible paths toward peace and humanitarian issues. It is Gallagher’s first visit to Moscow since 2021.

[BLESSED JAN VAN RUYSBROEK – XIII-XIV Century AD; born: Ruisbroek, Holy Roman Empire/ died: Groenendael, Holy Roman Empire; Mystic, Spiritual Writer, Doctor Divinus Ecstaticus] CHAPTER X ~ OF THE FIVE KINDS OF MEN WHO SHALL APPEAR AT THE JUDGMENT Five kinds of men will appear before this Judge. The first, and the worst, are those Christians who have died in mortal sin, without repentance and without regret; for these have despised the death of Christ and His sacraments, or received them unworthily and in vain. And they have not practised works of mercy, showing charity toward their neighbours, as God has commanded. And for this they are doomed to the depths of hell. The second kind are unbelievers, Pagans and Jews. These must all appear before Christ, though they were damned already during their lives; for, in their time, they had neither Divine grace nor Divine love, and for this reason they have always dwelt in the eternal death of damnation. But these will have less pain than the evil …More
"Five kinds of men will appear before this Judge. "The fifth kind are all those who, above all outward works of charity, have their sojourn in heaven, and are noughted and lost in God, and God in them, so that there is no other thing between God and them but time and their mortal nature. When these men are set free from their bodies, they enjoy, in that very moment, eternal bliss; and they are not judged, but will themselves judge other men, with Christ, in the Day of Doom."
