Catholic Bishop Shown in Hell. During the Hellfest festival, held from June 18–21, 2026, in Clisson, western France, a performer appeared on stage covered by a dark, skull-like mask and wearing a Catholic bishop's mitre. The stage production featured dark and occult-themed imagery. Pictures were shared on Hellfest's official Instagram account. It is one of Europe's largest heavy metal music festivals.

St. Louis IX, King.
If God sends you suffering,
receive it with humility,
think that you have deserved it,
and that He sends it for your salvation.
If everything succeeds for you,
do not then give yourself over
to pride
or to other misdeeds;
for you would be abusing God’s
benefits in order to offend Him.
— St. Louis IX, King
Saint Louis IX ruled France from 1226-1270 and is one of the most revered Catholic monarchs — a model of Christian kingship, justice, and piety. He went on two Crusades, promoted justice and charity in his realm, and was canonized in 1297.
Saint Louis IX is shown crowned and robed in blue with fleur-de-lis (the symbol of French royalty) holding the Crown of Thorns on a red cushion, with rays of light emanating from it. St. Louis IX acquired the relic of the Crown of Thorns from Constantinople and built the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris to house it.

‘How this devoted soul looking in the Divine mirror…’ ~ 'The Dialogue' of Saint Catherine of Siena; 1907; A TREATISE OF DISCRETION; pp. 139-141

[Saint Catherine of Siena /Caterina di Benincasa/; XIV-XV Century AD; born: Siena, Republic of Siena/died: Rome, Papal States; aged 33; Spiritual Writer; Mystic; Virgin; Doctor of the Church]
How this devoted soul looking in the Divine mirror saw the creatures going in diverse ways.
Then that soul, tormented with intense desire, gazing into the sweet Divine mirror,
saw creatures setting out to attain their end in diverse ways and with diverse considerations. She saw that many began to mount, feeling themselves pricked by servile fear, that is, fearing their own personal pain, and she saw others, practising this first state, arriving at the second state, but few she saw who arrived at the greatest perfection.
How servile fear is not sufficient, without the love of virtue, to give eternal life ; and how the law of fear and that of love are united.
Then the goodness of God, wishing to satisfy the desire of that soul, said,
" Dost thou see those ? They have arisen with servile fear from the …More

"The new law is the law of love, given by the Word of My only-begotten Son, and is founded in love alone. The new law does not break the old law, but rather fulfils it, as said My Truth, 'I come not to destroy the law, but to fulfil it.’ And He united the law of fear with that of love. Through love was taken away the imperfection of the fear of the penalty, and the perfection of holy fear remained, that is, the fear of offending, not on account of one's own damnation, but of offending Me, who am Supreme Good."

Father's Day: the best government policy for the family is to promote fatherhood
This weekend, June 21, in Canada and the United States we celebrate Father's Day. What exactly are we celebrating? That we a have a crisis of the absent father? That too many children grow up without a father? That children raised without a father have a lot more difficulties in life? Of course none this is ever mentioned by those in charge of our institutions like schools and governments.

Was 1865 really the end of "slavery" in the in United States?
Today America marks Juneteenth Day. It's a federal holiday to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The annual June 19 celebration began under President Joe Biden in 2019. It was on this day in 1865 that Union troops got to Galveston, Texas, to free the last enslaved people in the United States.

Reflections on Exemplar-Participatory Ontology of Creation: Appreciations and Questions – Restoring Reason

Reflections on Exemplar-Participatory Ontology of Creation: Appreciations and Questions
By Dr. Rafael Xavier Gonzalez
Before reading my article, check out Gene Zannetti’s fascinating article on Substack on Exemplar-Participatory Ontology of Creation:
https://meaningofcath.substack.com/p/the-schools-of-christendom-a-common
The article introducing Exemplar-Participatory Ontology of Creation (EPOC) is a thoughtful and ambitious attempt to address one of the perennial difficulties within Catholic theology: how the diverse schools of the tradition relate to one another. Rather than contributing to the factionalism that often characterizes theological discussion, the author seeks a deeper metaphysical grammar capable of illuminating the genuine insights preserved within Thomism, Augustinianism, Scotism, Eastern theology, and more recent movements such as Communio theology. This goal alone deserves commendation.
The article is deeply Christocentric, rooted in Scripture, respectful of the …

EWTN: Mother Angelica’s Network Of Apostasy

"This is one of the most important documentaries ever produced. It may be difficult and painful for some to admit that EWTN has been a deception, but people need to finally get out of the Vatican II sect. One of the most shocking moments in this video for me was the behavior of Stan Fortuna at his own mother's funeral."

I saw the Dr. David Anders on his EWTN show this week say that Methodist Church allowing abortion is offset by how good their hymns are. Only a pro-abortion TV commentator would dare say that.
