Sometimes the people we love such as our family members; God Almighty needs to bring them to conversion and repentance of their life that's leading them to Hell, the LONG and HARD way such as I'll health and suffering as we are experiencing currently in the family, and God's Ways (which I sometimes don't understand) and in His Wisdom and Great Love are working with our loved one. Three Catholic dioceses in northern England have proposed merging into one amid declining numbers. Bishop Marcus Stock has submitted a report to Pope Leo XIV recommending the unification of Leeds, Middlesbrough and Hallam, which together serve approximately 496,000 Catholics in 193 parishes. Monsignor Stock, Bishop of Leeds since 2014, also serves as Apostolic Administrator of Middlesbrough and Hallam. The recommendation follows an extensive consultation involving priests, deacons, religious communities, lay Catholics, diocesan councils, trustees and Catholic schools. Nine in-person meetings were held, and an online questionnaire received 840 responses. The consultation found broad support among clergy and openness among lay Catholics to unification, provided local identities are respected. Diocesan leaders unanimously supported recommending the merger to Rome. The proposal comes amid declining participation and clergy numbers.
