Als 1378 unter Urban VI. eine Kirchenspaltung drohte, wirkte sie fĂŒr eine Friedenslösung. Katharina wurde 1461 heiliggesprochen, 1939 zur Schutzpatronin von Italien erklĂ€rt, 1970 zur Kirchenlehrerin erhoben und 1999 zur Schutzpatronin Europas erklĂ€rt. 1461 wurde Katharina von Siena heiliggesprochen und 1939 zur Schutzpatronin von Italien erklĂ€rt. During this work, he began his apostolate of preaching the Rosary and authentic Marian devotion. He preached so forcefully and effectively against the errors of Jansenism that he was expelled from several dioceses in France. In RomePopeClement XI conferred on him the title and authority of Missionary Apostolic, which enabled him to continue his apostolate after returning to France. Gerufen zur Lebensgemeinschaft mit Christus "Ich bin der Weinstock, ihr seid die Reben." (Joh 15,5) Schauen wir kurz auf den vergangenen Sonntag zurĂŒck. Da hörten wir von Jesus: âIch bin der gute Hirte!â Jesus, der Gute Hirte ruft jeden persönlich beim Namen. Jeder ist fĂŒr ihn wichtig, einzigartig und geliebt. Dann fĂŒhrt er uns hinaus aus unserem Stall, dem Alltagstrott, auf fruchtbare Weide. Er ruft uns heraus. Auf griechisch heiĂt es: Ek â kaleo. Davon kommt das Wort: ecclesia = Kirche = die Herausgerufenen. Und wozu ruft Jesus uns aus dem alten Leben heraus? Er ruft uns zur innigen Lebensgemeinschaft mit Ihm und untereinander. und das ist der tiefe Sinn von Kirche.
