Odd...
That's not how the secular media is portraying it.
All I've seen and read has been about 'skinheads' rioting.

Those stories, along with your great editorial comments, were a real eye opener.

Where did you find this guy? He did a great job at presenting the news and he was entertaining too.
Thanks so much.
( If you ask nicely Lucia he may even give you some singing lessons. ;) )

Thank-you Traditional Catholic.
'Average Speed' works just fine. The pauses have been annoying for some time now.
Now when is that drive-through confessional coming to Canada? Not that I sin or anything, but it would help out my priest. (We're great sinners here.)

Ave Maria, Gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus et beneductus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis, peccatoribus,
nund et in hora mortis nostrae.
Amen.

Although this clip is for "Lutheran" Airlines anyone involved with parish life for a while will be able to have a wee chuckle.

My favourite passion hymn with images from The Passion of the Christ.

A beautiful ancient hymn. It is drenched with Cathlolic/Orthodox docrtine. Apparently protestants sing it a Christmas time by leaving out the second stanza.

A clip from the 1952 movie Miracle Of Our Lady Of Fatima as the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared for the first time to the three seers Francisco, Jacinta & Lucia at the Cova Da Iria, Fatima, Portugal in May 13, 1917. (I've never seen this. Has anyone … [Más]

This reminds me of my favourite Catholic joke:
Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger. But when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Then a woman came forward and tossed a pebble towards the woman in question.
Jesus said: "C'mon mom. You know I hate it when you do that!!"

My favourite Credo. This is a video prepared to help learn Latin.

A great instumental rendition ofO Sacred Head Now Wounded. Perfect for contemplation and meditation.

A well done guitar solo. Great for meditation, especially during Holy Week.

One of my favourite Mass parts -- I learn from repeating my faith.

Singing the Nicene Creed at Tridentine Masses taught me something I should have know all my life.
I grew up an Anglican. We always used the Nicene Creed.
After marriage I attended a parish that celebrated Mass in the Ordinary Form only (and still does :( ). Here in Canada we rarely use the Nicene Creed.
What I learned from the Tridentine Mass is how incredible it is that God became Man. I learned this when I saw everyone kneel for the words: "AND BECAME INCARNATE BY THE HOLY GHOST OF THE VIRGIN … [Más]

Beautiful. But my Latin is very poor. (I haven't been able to assist at a Latin Mass for about nine years.)
Is it possible to have the English translation on the side somewhere?
Thanks for the music and God bless.

Sancta Maria
Mater Dei
Ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Wonderful. It's interesting that this is sung by many non-Catholics at Christmas time.

I am not familiar with the Pope's usual habits, but I find this video disconcerting. I hate seeing unconsecrated hands touching the Body of Christ.

Wonderful. I wish each parish was filled with Latin hymns and chant.

Thank-you for this. Unfortunately I've never considered the need for me personally praying for the pope! (Because I'm a convert??) I'll have to get my pray life back in order and start praying fervently.

This is a much more appropriate site for the traditional Mass in that YouTube tends to generate a lot of negative feedback especially from those who are anti-Catholic or even anti-religion. Thanks for sharing.
