Oooo, I played the magnificent 4-manual [I believe it's now a 5-manual!] cassavant organ in Notre Dame de Montreal once. The French really have a gift for organ building within the context of such beautiful architecture. The near by Church of St Patrick's is also quite the gem. Built for the Irish immigrants, its architecture is more Anglo-Irish Neo-Gothic, BUT, the acoustic is just lovely (one hopes they have resumed singing Latin Chant there!)....
